Adapted apps

Google Maps on the head unit — a unique build you will not find anywhere else: the original Maps will not run on the head unit, this version does. Fast, with the interface optimised for the head unit screen. Everything Maps can do: live traffic, routes that account for road conditions, search for places and businesses with reviews, satellite view, Street View and offline maps. Works together with MicroG — it is in the launcher's app list and installs in one tap.

Yandex Navigator is the No. 1 navigation app in Turkey, Kazakhstan and a number of countries across Asia and Eastern Europe. Real-time traffic, speed cameras, voice guidance, parking and detailed city maps. Three versions are available in the launcher — 6, 23 and 28, each with its own strengths: • Version 6 — the fastest: runs as smoothly as on a modern phone, but the map is less detailed • Version 23 — the golden mean: a detailed map, extras removed for speed, voice prompts on a separate volume channel • Version 28 — the most complete: built-in music and fuel stations work, traffic light colours are shown, but it lags noticeably when you actively use the map Only one version can be installed — pick the one that suits you.

BlackPlayer EX is one of the most convenient MP3 players for Android, adapted for the head unit. Turn the key and the music plays by itself, right where you left off. What was done for the head unit: • Autostart on boot • Large buttons — easy to tap on the move • Enlarged scale and a full-screen album cover USB stick handling has been completely reworked: after a restart the stock player lost the stick and rescanned it from scratch, this version sees it right away and continues from the same track.

Total Commander is the file manager that opens the head unit to any app. Download an APK to a USB stick and install it straight from there, no computer or phone needed. What it gives you on the head unit: • Install any APK from a USB stick in a couple of taps • Copy music to internal storage — the player works without the stick • Two panes side by side: USB stick and head unit storage, copy in one move • Browse and clean up files on the head unit: cache, logs, old downloads Put the stick away in the glovebox — your whole collection is already inside.

SmartTube is a free, ad-free YouTube client for car screens and Smart TVs. Watch videos without ad breaks, skip sponsor segments inside videos, sign in to your account for subscriptions and recommendations. The interface is adapted for comfortable touch control on a car screen. Works without a VPN.

AIMP is one of the best mp3 players for Android. What was adapted: • Starts automatically when the ignition is switched on • Runs reliably in the background — navigation never interrupts it • Fast start — music plays a second after launch • Supports every audio format (mp3, flac, ogg, wav and more) Highlights: • Equalizer to tune the sound to your car's acoustics • Remembers the playback position • Minimal battery and resource usage A proven solution for local music on a USB stick or SD card.

Speed Checker is an original app for those who love their Omoda C5 and want to know what it is really capable of. Press START, floor the throttle — and get an honest 0–100 km/h time accurate to a hundredth of a second. Or 0–60, 150, 200 — your choice. The app keeps your 10 best runs and records the outside temperature and tyre pressures at the moment of the record. You can add a note to every result: alone or with a passenger, warmed-up engine or cold start — it will be interesting to compare later. A beautiful speedometer and tachometer right on the head unit screen. No fiddling with settings — install and go.

FM/AM radio for the head unit — with station logos and steering wheel control. It opens inside a launcher preset window, where the stock radio cannot go, and works without the internet. What was done for the head unit: • Two layouts — inside a preset window and full screen • Large station logo: a database of 92 cities, the city is detected automatically • Steering wheel control: short press — next station, Mute — pause; with the "Favourites" filter it cycles only through your stations Favourites are tied to the station, not the frequency: arrive in another city and your stations are still in the list, already on the local frequencies. Minimise the radio — it keeps playing in the background and yields the sound when you start music or navigation. If your city or its station logos are missing, email us at info@omoda5.com and we will add them promptly.

PC Radio is online radio with a huge collection of stations. What was adapted: • Interface optimised for the car screen • Large control buttons — convenient while driving • Over 1000 radio stations of all genres • Minimal data usage • Stable background playback while using the navigator Perfect for background listening on the road.
